Mathew Thomas Graham was born in Saint Louis, Missouri and raised in the surrounding suburban region. During his undergraduate tenure, he conducted research in the fields of computational chemistry under the guidance of Charles C. Kirkpatrick and prebiotic chemistry under the supervision of Paul J. Bracher. In 2014, he graduated with academic honors from Saint Louis University while obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry. In July of 2014, he began his graduate studies at Saint Louis University where he continues research in the fields of organic, inorganic, and prebiotic chemistry.
